Edge Cyclesports has been serving cyclists and triathletes with superior service and individualized attention since 1999. Hank and Mary Ann Iglesias founded the shop 12 years ago in Laguna Woods, California, with a mission to provide discerning cyclists a richer, more complete bike shop experience.
When Edge first opened, there were plenty of high-volume bike retailers in the area. But Hank had a unique vision to provide all cyclists, from pro athletes to newcomers, a deeper level of service. It was about connecting with the local cycling community. It was less about sales, more about sharing our passion for bikes and the cycling lifestyle.
The Edge experience starts with Hank. An industry veteran, he has honed his product and mechanical knowledge over the past 30 years. Since 1979, Hank has worked for major bike brands such as Raleigh, and in small, independent shops in different regions of the country. Hank and the rest of the Edge technical staff understand the needs of athletes and riders. They know that bike performance and fit play a critical role in helping cyclists and triathletes enjoy their sport.
